Capella 166 by P&H

DESCRIPTION: The P&H Capella is one of the most highly tested sea kayak designs in the world. The Capella offers the ideal balance between user friendliness and performance. The Shallow V Hull provides good Seaworthiness and responds well to edging. If edged properly, the Capella will Maneuver like a 14 ft Hybrid kayak. In terms of Efficiency, an average paddler can expect to cover 4 - 5 miles in an hour of paddling.

This boat uses a Foam Core Polyethylene hull material for the lightest and stiffest polyethylene sea kayak on the market. The Capella uses Kajak Sport hatch covers, which are the driest in the world. You get 3 bulkheads & hatches instead of the usual 2. You also get an Internal Skeg to aid tracking on windy days. The seat is one of the most comfortable available. This boat is very durable and can take some real abuse.

The Capella 160 fits smaller paddlers up to 150 lbs. The Capella 166 fits Medium and Large paddlers 140 - 220 lbs. The P&H Capella is also available in Composite versions for the most customized fit and performance.
