Cypress Kevlar by Current Designs

DESCRIPTION: The Current Designs Cypress is the newest addition to the CD fleet. The Cypress offers demanding paddlers the performance they crave. The Shallow Arch Hull has a very slight V amid ship and provides good tracking. When edged properly, however, the Cypress really performs and can turn like a 14 ft Hybrid Kayak. Modest Rocker with British design elements provide Seaworthiness and Maneuverablity. In terms of Efficiency, an average paddler can expect to cover 4 - 5 miles in an hour of paddling.

This boat uses a Vacuum bagged Kevlar hull material for the lightest and stiffest construction possible . The Cypress uses Kajak Sport hatch covers, which are the driest in the world. You get 3 composite bulkheads & hatches instead of the usual 2. You also get an Internal Skeg to aid tracking on windy days. The cockpit is one of the most comfortable available.

The Cypress fits a wide range of paddlers up to 190 lbs.
