The first Saturday of each December, Great Outdoor Provision Co. donates 5% of sales to local Habitat for Humanity affiliates. Habitat brings families in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable housing.

As a wilderness outfitter, we equip folks so they are comfortable in the outdoors. The thought of voluntarily leaving a warm, dry home requires the confidence that one’s gear is adequate protection for the journey. Shelter, food, and clothing, things normally taken for granted, become a priority as we embark into the wild. And for the adventurer, the return to a home affords the opportunity to savor the memories of the trip.Habitat Day reminds us that not everyone has an affordable home.
