The first Saturday of each December, Great Outdoor Provision Co. donates 5% of sales to local Habitat for Humanity affiliates. Habitat brings families in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable housing.

As a wilderness outfitter, we equip folks so they are comfortable in the outdoors. The thought of voluntarily leaving a warm, dry home requires the confidence that one’s gear is adequate protection for the journey. Shelter, food, and clothing, things normally taken for granted, become a priority as we embark into the wild. And for the adventurer, the return to a home affords the opportunity to savor the memories of the trip.Habitat Day reminds us that not everyone has an affordable home.This year, through the generous support of ExOfficio, our “Staying Warm from the Inside Out” campaign can spread the vision of “every family in a healthy home, a peaceful neighborhood, in a sustainable, diverse, tolerant, and vibrant community.” We appreciate the help that you provide in support of Habitat for Humanity by shopping with us on Sat, Dec 1st.
