Possibly some of the easiest miles you’ll find in the Smokies! This loop heads up Deep Creek, the first mile or so of which is popular with tubers (not of the potato variety) in warm weather. You'll continue on Deep Creek Trail until you reach the Loop Trail, and then take the Indian Creek Trail Back to the parking lot. The route hits three waterfalls - Juney Whank, Tom Branch, and Indian Creek - and is moderately hilly, providing just the right mix of challenge and reward! The area is popular and well-maintained, and if you continue up the broader Deep Creek Trail from the first few miles, you can easily access some great backcountry campsites!
