Great Outdoor Provision Co. Community Raises Over $1,500 for WNC Hurricane Recovery Efforts.
Here at Great Outdoor Provision Co., we are proud to announce that our community has raised over $1,500 for Hurricane Helene recovery efforts in Western North Carolina through the sales of the "WNC Give-Back T."
We have been actively supporting Western North Carolina (WNC) since Hurricane Helene struck in late September 2024, initially shipping over 2,000 coats from our annual coat drive. This ongoing support has now been amplified by the "WNC Give-Back T" initiative.
Designed by Cheryl Yount from the Charlotte shop, the "WNC Give-Back T" initiative directs 20% of proceeds to MountainTrue, an organization dedicated to protecting Western North Carolina's watersheds and forests. MountainTrue's work includes monitoring water quality, advocating for environmental justice, and aiding in post-hurricane recovery.
This success is a testament to the creativity, compassion, and conviction of our team and customers. We are thrilled to support MountainTrue in their vital work and continue our 'We Help Others' mission.
