What (or who!) first introduced you to the outdoors lifestyle?
My brother-in-law took the family to the climbing gym 7-8 years ago, and I haven’t been able to leave the outdoors lifestyle since.

What has been your most memorable trip or outdoors experience?
My first outdoor bouldering trip. I arrived late, parked in the wrong area, managed to find my group, and then proceeded to get humbled by the rock. But lit a spark in me to continue to pursue outdoor bouldering.

What first brought you to GOPC and why do you enjoy working here?
I met a GOPC employee when I was working at my university’s rock wall. I was set to graduate and leave that position and she recommended I come work at GOPC! I love being able to help people make educated decisions about gear that help them enjoy their experience outside.

What has been your most special customer moment?
I had the privilege of helping a gentleman from Brazil make decisions about backpacking gear. It was a full rundown on education complete with a packing list. It is a moment at the store I often think about.
