What's been your most memorable trip/outdoors experience? One of my most memorable outdoor experiences was camping on the coast after a long hike along the Neusiok trail.
What first brought you to GOPC and what do you love about working there? I came first as a customer knowing that GOPC not only had the products I need, but experienced staff members who had field tested many of these same products themselves. I eventually realized that working in a such a position that would allowed me to help others enjoy the great outdoors for themselves is an exceedingly meaningful opportunity. I left my previously career in pursuit of a meaningful one. I love working at GOPC because I know the power of nature. Quality time outdoors can be the elixir to many of life's woes. For the first time in a long time, I can honestly say that my career is meaningful.
What has been your most special customer moment? I had the opportunity to assist a client who hadn't kayaked in years but was eager to return to the sport. Her primary goal was safety and stability as she would be introducing her children to the world of kayaking she once loved so much. It was such a pleasure to be a part of that process. She left GOPC confident in her kayak selection and equipped to lead her children in the beloved sport.
