Photographer, filmmaker, and writer Andrew Kornylak grew up in a small town in southern Ohio. His grandparents were accomplished painters, and his father was an amateur photographer and world traveler.  Andrew was the only one who stayed awake for his dad’s late-night slideshows.  At an early age, he learned to use a camera, a Minolta single-lens reflex handed down from his older brother, a newspaper photographer at the time.
