What (or who!) first introduced you to the outdoors lifestyle?
I absolutely loved the beach as a child. Later, my parents sent me to Girl Scout camp Winding Creek, a summer camp in Florida.

What's been your most memorable trip/outdoors experience?
Montréal, Québec. In Canada, I really discovered the outdoors and fell in love with outdoor sports.
What first brought you to GOPC and why do you enjoy working here? I was getting ready to do a hike for Make-A-Wish 26.8 miles and I was looking for a pair of good boots. Well, I found them at Great Outdoor Provision Co! Later, my mom asked me where I wanted to work, and I told her that I wanted to work at the Great Outdoor Provision Co. in Winston Salem.

What has been your most special customer moment?
I have been working in retail, in some form or another, for 45 years. Great Outdoor Provision Co. has by far the nicest customers I have ever worked with!
