What (or who!) first introduced you to the outdoors lifestyle?
My parents were big campers and bike riders. Scouting also played a huge role!

What's been your most memorable trip/outdoors experience?
Climbing a 2200 ft multi-pitch climb in Red Rocks National Park in NV without instructor supervision.

What first brought you to GOPC and what do you love about working there?
A friend of mine worked there and I was looking for a fun place to work. I love that I have the daily opportunity to outfit folks for any adventure but more so love the fact I work with co workers that are first considered friends that I get hang out with outside of work as well. That’s a rare thing.

What has been your most special customer moment?
I remember when I was a brand new employee at Great Outdoor Provision. Ward Swann outfitted me maybe 10 years prior with a shell, insulated jacket and base layers. On my first day he excitedly recalled every item and details of our interaction. It showed me I was special and that the daily transactions we have with customers are meaningful and that each piece of gear we recommend matters, leaving a major impact on people’s lives.
